Registration Instructions: Pre-approval is needed for course registration. To be approved for the course, send an up-to-date resume to firstname.lastname@example.org. Participants must hold a current Illinois RN license, have a minimum of two years nursing experience and at least one year of RN experience, as defined as providing direct care for the elderly in a nursing home or certified skilled unit of a hospital, or, teaching theory in an accredited nursing program.
Registration is approved upon approval of course qualifications. Successful completion of this IDPH-approved course qualifies registered nurses (RNs) licensed in Illinois to develop and teach a Basic Nursing Assistant Training Program (BNATP).
