HIRING Adjunct CNA Instructors for FALL 2019: College of DuPage

College of DuPage seeks adjunct faculty members to teach courses in the Certified Nursing Assistant Training Program  starting in June, 2019.

We seek an experienced CN instructor who enjoys teaching, collaborating with colleagues, and recognizes diversity and inclusion as core values of nursing. The faculty will provide direct instruction to students according to the curriculum designed to assist students to pass the Illinois Nurse Assist Certificate Exam. The CNATP utilizes a competency-based curriculum and offers 8-week and 16-week courses in fall, spring, and summer.

Teaching assignments may include various delivery modes, such as face-to-face, on-line, hybrid and/or blended formats during days, evenings and weekends.
Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred. A current active, unencumbered Illinois RN license required. Minimum 2 years nursing practice required. Successful completion of the IDPH CNA Train-the-Trainer (TtT) course required. Approved Evaluator Workshop and current Department-sponsored 5-year refresher TtT course and Approved Evaluator Workshop required. Current CPR for BLS certification required. One year work experience as a CNA instructor preferred.
