Explanation of Course:
This course is designed to explain how nursing assistant programs work and familiarize participants with the laws and rules that govern programs. You will learn about the many roles of a nursing assistant instructor and how to implement these roles.
Many facets of teaching and ways to facilitate learning experiences will be explored. This course will prepare you for your responsibilities as an instructor and provide the tools needed to function as a novice instructor. The course is completely online with no face-to-face components necessary. You will have eight weeks to complete the course material. The course is set up to complete one module per week. You can complete the modules in a shorter length of time if you wish. During the course you will complete activities and assessments that will help you meet the course objectives.
