An Education Coordinator (Variable Time) assigned to the Nurse Aide Testing Project in the Department of Workforce Education and Development at Southern Illinois University Carbondale. This position will serve the southern portion of the state of Illinois.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or Education; current licensure (or ability to obtain licensure prior to employment) in Illinois as a Registered Professional Nurse; two years recent experience in long term-care; familiarity with restorative and rehabilitative nursing.
Preferred: Certified Nurse Educator; CNA instructor in the state of Illinois; certification in restorative and rehabilitative nursing; approved CNA evaluator; experience with teaching methodologies; familiar with federal and state long-term care regulations.
